This quick guide explains what Roost is and what you can do with it.
What is Roost?
Roost is an digital service platform for apartment residents.
Roost enables residents to:
- Quickly find useful information related to your building
- Contact the building team
- Receive announcements and messages from the building team, including parcel notifications
- Report and get help with problems 24/7
- Access useful services
- Chat to an on-site virtual concierge
- Get help buying products and services
- View current sale/rent listings and recent history
Do I need to sign-in?
You don’t need to sign-in to access your building’s virtual concierge to report problems, contact the building team or receive email and SMS messages.
To access your virtual concierge, click the “chat” icon on your building page and follow the prompts to get help with a variety of tasks.

Benefits of signing-in
Signing-in to your Roost building page gives you quick access to recent building bulletins, useful building information & documents, and building team contact details. The virtual concierge also knows who you are which makes it easier to contact the building team and submit problem reports.

How do I access my account?
You already have a Roost account based on your Strata.chat email but you will need to reset your password to sign in.
To reset your password go to: https://roost.com.au/sign-in/lost-password
And enter your account email.
You’ll then receive a password reset email and just follow the prompts.
How do I sign-in?
Go to Roost and click sign-in.
Enter your account email and new password and you’ll go straight to your building.
Select “Remember me” to stay signed in. You can then click the “My building” shortcut anytime to go to your building.
